The service provided by the Projector People was exceptional. They gave me various different prospectives about how I should set up my home theater. Michael Norton was very helpful and I would be lost without him. My home theater is wonderful and it has brought family movie night back to my house. It was worth every penny I spent. Other websites estimated the price would be 50% more than what I paid with The Projector People. As the IT Director for a growing 400 person company, I deal with several vendors daily and I wanted to comment on the quality of the service I just received on my first purchase through Projector People. I have had the privilege of working with Rich Morgan over the last 6 weeks as my church made some decisions about the technology for our new building. The (salesperson) was not only very friendly but very knowledgeable on their products. Let me just say that I don't spend 2500 dollars on luxury items too often, but this has been money very well spent. The experience is amazing!

This projector basically blows away every person that comes over to watch it. From sporting events to movies to video games, this thing rocks.

You can change the screen size and also manipulate where it shoots on the wall without moving the projector itself. This is useful for my room's setup because I can center the picture depending on how many people I have over. Adjusting the screen size is necessary cause this projector shoots can actually be too big at times. Did I really just complain about the screen being too big? Yes the screen can be too big, when you have a picture this big you can easily see the difference between 1080i and 1080p.

It really does give an unmatched experience. One of my friends now regrets that he just bought a 52" LCD after seeing this projector. And why shouldn't he 52" is miniature in comparison to 12'.

I absolutely LOVE the projector, it is the best money i every spent. AND i have not even connected a Blu-Ray DVD to it yet. It is in a basement room i finished for the kids, and I (I mean they) use it mostly for HD cable and DVD movies.

I have to say i was a little worried that the clarity just could not possibly be as good as my 52" HD plasma, but it absolutely is; at 100"!!

Unbelievable amount of choice and depth of information. These guys seem to present the sales pitch in an honest and open way - they obviously know their stuff, but it doesn't feel like they're doing the hard sell. They claim to have the most choice and more projectors available than any other online seller, and I believe them. I have been reseraching projectors for some time and I wish I'd found these guys earlier, they really are a mine of information. In addition to the actual sales section, they have a Resource Zone which has great links to press releases and technology guides so you can do a lot of serious research before you buy. There's even a Blog on the site, which I found had some down to earth info in.

Unbelievably helpful! I am thoroughly delighted with this high quality easy to use projector. The sales person steered me to the newer technology, away from what I was planning to buy that was just a little less money, and he was right! The difference in the quality of the picture is well worth the extra money.

I ended up buying the Optoma HD70 from you (projectorpeople.com) and it is working great for us. I've got it mounted on the ceiling and have run 50ft of every possible cable up and back to my new Onkyo stereo receiver which handles both audio, and HD/component/Svideo and regular video input from DVR, DirecTV, VCR, etc. I made a fixed screen in our basement out of some high grade material I got on e-bay and some 1 x 3 white pine, painted black, for the frame. Everyone is astonished at the nearly 8 ft wide picture that I'm showing on the wall. My 19 year old son came home from college and plugged in his xbox 360 to play some war games and it is unbelievable with the life-size guys in 1080i and the 7:1 surround sound. When I went over to a buddies house last weekend to watch the Michigan-Notre Dame game on his 40 inch Panasonic HD Flat screen, I knew without a doubt that the projector was definitely the way to go. I even have the rebate back now, too.

Dear Projector People.Com, just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your service and your products. I have been researching projectors for about eight months for my basement media room. I have spent countless hours online and in stores trying to get information and personal advice for a projector with the best picture, easy to operate, set up, and cost less than $1500.00. To be honest with you, I didn't think I was ever going to find exactly what I wanted. I was either going to have to spend more or have less picture quality. I just wanted to let you know that your sales and customer service reps are top notch.

I purchased a projector through your co. and had a problem with the lamp. The bulb blew out on a Fri. and the buisness I installed it for had advertised pre season football on the big screen that weekend.I telephoned (my sales rep) who sensed my bit of a dilemma, and transferred my call to Colin in customer service. The replacement lamp was shipped to me overnight and arrived at 10:30 Sat.am. Projector was up and running by noon and the games were played.

I can't thank these two gentlemen enough for giving 110% and going the extra mile.

I talked to them about projectors, screens, etc for 2 conference rooms and was prepared to purchase everything at once. They suggested that I get the projectors first to make sure I like them before getting the screens and accessories because there is no re-stock fee on projectors if I wasn't happy. I've been shopping around for DVD player to go with my new plasma, and have been spending a lot of time reading the C-Net reviews. After deciding on a unit by Oppo, I followed the link to your site. I called B&H first, low price and all. But I talked to 6 people before I was transfered to someone who did projectors. I called PP and got you right off the bat. Threre is no comparison in the customer service. Plus I just got a conformation the my projector is on the way. Same day shipping.

The difference in price was made up in personal service. Who knows when B&H will really ship and when they would send out the Rebate. Thanks for all your help.

...I'd recommend your company to anybody... over Circuit City and Best Buy too as far as projectors go. Your prices that I have seen are better and as of right now I am saying your support is way better. Maybe big diversified retail stores aren't as efficient as specialized shops after all? Monolithic vs. modular again? Good job man.

I just wanted to let you know how well the Panasonic HD projector and Gray Wolf screen worked out in our basement home theatre. My neighbor and I always go back and forth on who has the latest and greatest electronics and when he got his latest Sony SXRD big screen he promised me that no projector could ever get close to its quality picture, and certainly not with a 10 foot screen. That theory went down in flames two weeks ago; since then his family has been over to see movies three times and have made no less than 10 comments on how awesome the system looks. I had issues with my general contractor, the carpet, our gaming tables, etc. but the items you provided were the only things we bought that caused only joy and no pain. The only down side is that no one in our family has ANY interest in going to the movies any longer, as we have a much better system right down stairs! Thanks again for all your help and the many projectors for our business over the years and especially for this special home purchase.

I received the Oppo981HD DVD player, and am absolutely thrilled with it. The resolution and up-converting to 1080p is terrific when coupled with my Sony KDL40XBR3 Bravia TV. Your site was extremely user friendly and easy to navigate through. Any questions I had pre-delivery were handled expeditiously and professionally by Eric and delivery was as promised. I work for an IT company that orders several projectors a month for our clients and I never heard of any complaints or problems when our purchasing staff worked with The Projector People. Well the day finally rolled around for me to order my personal projector for a theater room that I am putting into my house and first place I called was The Projector People. I found out about the Oppo 981HD on the AV Forums. Lucky for me PP had it in stock, (my sales rep) once again helped me with excellent service; my new Oppo showed up on time via FedEx. I couldn't be happier with the Oppo - fantastic definition, black levels, white levels, and details that I've only seen in commercial HD DLP theaters. Highly recommend PP to anyone who wants to get the most for their money along with superb personal customer service.

It is truly refreshing to find a vendor that knows the meaning of customer service! Start to finish Sarah was knowledgeable and responsive. I must've called or e-mailed a half dozen times with questions and each time she treated me as though I were her only customer. She never tried to steer me towards more expensive product, she simply gave me the information I needed to get exactly the right equipment. I'd pay more for that kind of service, but it turns out Projector People beat all other vendor's prices. On top of that my order arrived less that three days after I placed it. I whole heartedly give Projector People the highest recommendation, and will certainly shop here again.

Was the site easy to navigate? Yes because of it's extremely logical setup. Did the pages load quickly? Yes, no issues. Was the information presented in an easy to understand format? I had no problem navigating your site or finding what I needed. I assume the pages loaded as quickly as possible given a 56K modem limitation. I just got satellite broadband installed and went back into your site today and it seemed to respond very quickly.

I was able to track my shipment with UPS where it is in FL currently. In response to your website feedback: loading of pages was nice and quick; and the info was easy to understand. I liked the discount options for best price (even though I didn't have an additional discount). I did use the quick price through e-mail to get the latest price on a BenQ.
