Shipping Information
Residential Orders
Please know a signature is required for items shipped to a residential address.
"In Stock" Means
If you place an order for an item marked "In Stock" before 3:00 p.m. (EST), that item will be sent via your chosen shipping option that same day. Orders placed after 3:00 p.m. and before the end of business that day, will be given every effort to expedite shipping that same day. But, we cannot guarantee same-day shipping for orders placed after 3:00 p.m. (EST).
Free ground shipping applies to all projectors, screens and select accessories on orders shipping within the continental U.S. Demo projectors and large, oversized or very bulky items and special order items do not qualify for free shipping, unless specifically noted. Most projector orders shipped ground are delivered within 1-3 business days; your projector expert will let you know the expected date when we call to confirm your order.
"Call for Availability" Means
If you wish to order a projector marked "Call for Availability" before 3:00 p.m. (EST), it is possible that it will still ship same day. However, we may need to contact our manufacturer partners to determine how quickly you can receive the product. If not available for a same day shipment, the product will ship at the first available moment. You may continue your order online, and Projector People will contact you by email when the item ships, or you can call a Projector Expert who will work with you to get your product ASAP.
Weekends and Holidays
Items are not generally shipped on weekends or holidays.
Special Order or Backorder Items
If an item is backordered we will contact you as soon as possible with the anticipated delivery time frame. You can also contact us by email at status@projectorpeople.com or call 1-800-639-3010 to check on the status of your back ordered item.
Common Causes of Order Delays
Ordering online is fast and easy, but there are sometimes unforeseen snags that can cause brief order delays. Here are a few of the most common sources of order delays:
Shipping Address Not the Same as Billing Address
Credit card companies are extra careful about fraud prevention and may place a hold on orders that are shipping to an address that is not on their client's account. A quick call to your credit card company can eliminate delays. Just have them add the additional shipping address to your account.
Email Address Typos
A simple typo, such as leaving off the .com or .net at the end of your email address can result in you not receiving an order confirmation email. Double check your email address when entering your order to ensure there are no typos. You should receive an email immediately after your order is placed.
Home or Cell Phone Numbers Not Provided
It's a good idea to provide us with a phone number where you can be reached throughout the day. If we encounter a problem with your order, we may call you to resolve the issue quickly. For example, some credit card companies have a limit for daily spending, which you may not be aware of. Please see our privacy policy for any concerns you may have about providing your phone numbers.
Spam Filters
If you have a spam filter with your email provider, order confirmation emails may be received as spam, since they are sent immediately through an automated system. If you don't receive an email immediately after you place your order, you may wish to check your spam filter for your confirmation email.
